Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 September 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or buy The Control Method. By doing either, you agree to them. Please read them — they are written to be clear, not clever.
The short version
- You must be 18 or older.
- The Control Method is educational material, not medical advice or treatment.
- You pay ₹299 once, inclusive of all taxes. No subscription.
- The guide is for your personal use. Please don’t share or resell it — each copy carries your email.
- 7-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email us within 7 days of purchase and we’ll refund the full ₹299.
1. Who we are
This website is run by [Your registered business name], [Your registered business address] (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can contact us at support@example.com or through our Contact page.
2. Adults only
This website and the guide are for adults. By using the site or buying, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Indian law. If you are under 18, please do not use this site.
3. What you are buying
The Control Method is a digital guide in PDF format (about 168 pages) containing a 30-day foundation plan and a roadmap for weeks 5–12. It is a one-time purchase: there is no subscription and nothing renews. The contents are described on our product page.
We may improve the guide over time — for example, to correct errors or update references. Your download link always gives you the current version.
4. Educational content, not medical advice
The guide provides general education and self-help exercises. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. It is not a substitute for seeing a qualified doctor. We do not claim that it cures or treats any disease or condition, and we cannot guarantee any particular result — results vary from person to person. Please read our full Medical Disclaimer.
5. Price and payment
- The price is ₹299, in Indian rupees, inclusive of all taxes. We don’t add any fees at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay, using the methods Razorpay offers (such as UPI, cards, net banking and wallets). Razorpay’s own terms apply to the payment. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- Your purchase is complete when Razorpay confirms that the payment was successful.
- If money leaves your account but the payment fails, it is normally returned to you automatically by Razorpay or your bank. If it isn’t, contact us with your payment ID.
- If we change the price, it won’t affect purchases already made.
- Need a receipt or invoice? Email us with your payment ID.
6. Delivery
The guide is delivered digitally and instantly — there is no physical shipping. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details, including what to do if you don’t receive it.
7. Refunds and cancellation
We offer a 7-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email us within 7 days of purchase and we’ll refund the full ₹299. Include your payment ID. When a purchase is refunded, your download link stops working and your licence ends. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Your licence to use the guide
When you buy, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, read and print the guide for your own, non-commercial use. You may keep copies on your own devices and print pages for yourself.
You may not:
- share, send, upload or post the PDF — or your download link — to anyone else;
- sell, rent or give away copies, or include the guide in another product or course;
- copy substantial parts of the guide, or remove or hide the licence line printed on its pages.
Watermarking: every copy is stamped with the buyer’s email address and payment ID, so a shared copy can be traced back to the purchase it came from. If you break these terms, your licence ends and we may take action to protect our rights.
9. Your download link
Your download link is personal and works for as long as your purchase is valid. Keep it private. We are not responsible for downloads made by anyone you share it with.
10. Intellectual property
The guide, this website and their content (text, design, illustrations and the The Control Method name) belong to [Your registered business name] and are protected by copyright and other laws. The studies we cite belong to their respective authors and publishers.
11. Using this website
Please don’t misuse the site: for example, by trying to get around payment or access checks, using someone else’s payment details, overloading our systems, or copying the site’s content in bulk. We may block access to anyone who does.
12. Limitation of liability
We work hard to keep the guide accurate and useful, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows:
- our total liability to you for anything relating to the guide or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the guide;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any harm that results from ignoring the Medical Disclaimer or not seeking medical advice when you need it.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Third-party services
We rely on third parties such as Razorpay to run parts of this service, and the guide links to published research. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, which have their own terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly by email. If a complaint isn’t resolved, you can write to our grievance officer (details on the Contact page), who will acknowledge it within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.
Subject to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 — including the right to approach a consumer commission or the National Consumer Helpline (1915, consumerhelpline.gov.in) — the courts with jurisdiction over our registered address ([Your registered business address]) will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you bought the guide apply to that purchase.
16. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Medical Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between you and us about the guide.
